He was predeceased by: his father Louis Alvettin. He is survived by: his wife Laila M. Phillips; his daughters, Holly Parmely (Bruce) and Karen Lyke (Rocky); his stepdaughters, Jennifer LaBissoniere and Renee LaBissoniere-Burrill (Gary); his grandchildren, Sierra Brush (Chris) and Allie Parmely; his stepgrandchildren, Rodney, Gabrielle, Logan, Jacqueline Kerr, Aaron Walmsley (Christine) and Jerry Aikens; his great grandchildren, Carter Brush and Evelyn Walmsley; and his brothers, Pat Phillips (Sharon) and Jim Phillips (Elaine).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Research / University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center.
