He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Rueger and Agnes Rueger; and his siblings, Eldor, Alfred and Luetta Behmlander.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughters, Diane Wackler (John) of Stillwater, OK and Valerie Parrish (Steve) of Valrico, FL.; his grandchildren, Jonathan Wackler of Stillwater, OK, Megan Elder (Jake) of Midland, TX, Abigail Wackler of Oklahoma City, Timothy Parrish of Valrico, FL and Joshua Parrish of Wesley Chapel, FL.; his nieces and nephews, Joanne and Cary Behmlander; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Bordour (John), Jim Schnell and Joe Swan.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church of Amelith (1664 Amelith Rd, Bay City, MI 48706).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to St. John Amelith Lutheran Church.
