He is survived by: his sons, Alfred Root, Jr. and Shawn Root. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Trahan Funeral Chapel (256 N Madison Ave, Bay City, MI 48708). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
