It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Scott Botham (Bay City, Michigan), born in Panama City, Florida, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Botham and Delores Botham (Nieman). He is survived by: his sisters, Debbie McAlpine (Jeff) and Sandra Gainsforth; his nephew Derek Gainsforth; his nieces, Ashley Reed (Brendon) and Kristie McAlpine (David Dwertmann); his great-niece Ella June Dwertmann; his uncle John Nieman (Judi); and his cousins, Marissa Cardon (Brad), Landry and Beau.

Memorial cards for the American Heart Association will be available at the funeral home.
