He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Banaszak and Florence Banaszak (Kazmierski). He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Ciesielski (Marian Krzysiak); his children, Annette Gallant (Frank), Alan Banaszak (Sidney), Aileen Stuart (Michael), Aimee Vandenbossche (John) and Allison Lavender (Michael); and his grandchildren, Madison, Cameron, Courtney, Logan, Alexander, Ashley, Chloe, Emily, Luke, Dawson, Jack and Annabelle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trahan Funeral Chapel (256 N Madison Ave, Bay City, MI 48708). A vigil service will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish - St. Stanislaus (1503 Kosciuszko Ave, Bay City, MI 48708).
