He is survived by: his children, Arnold Rogers (Alicia), Ronald Rogers (Jeanette Griffin), Jaden Martin and Banicia Rogers; his grandchildren, Simone Rogers, Seyon Rogers, Najah Payne, Arnicia Bass (Rashaan), Alacia Krause (James), Olivia Randall, Dominic Edwards, Jamari Griffin, Jenna Rogers, Ellerie Rogers, Marika Mayhoe, James Krause, Alexander Krause and Liliana Krause; his great grandchildren, Montae Howlett, Demariana Bolden, Dayana Bolden, Dekari Bolden and Gabriel Payne; his sisters, Bertha Dunn, Clara Ramsey (Joe) of Baton Rouge, LA and Carolyn Rogers of Baton Rouge, LA; his sister-in-law Joann Rogers of Kenna, LA; his brothers, George Rogers Sr. (Fannie) of Kenna, LA, Howard Rogers of Orange, NJ, Silas Rogers and Wardell Rogers Jr. (Pearl) of Baker, LA; his friend Georgia Forbes; and his former wife Althea Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service (375 W Dickman Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
