She was predeceased by: her stepson Devin Stephenson. She is survived by: her parents, Edmund Finch and Karen Finch (Kampen); her husband Alvin Stephenson; her children, Winston Stephenson and Alexa Robinson (Dyzmen); her grandson Theo Robinson; her stepsons, Terence Young, Alvin Stephenson II and Roderick Carson; her siblings, Robin Bertolissi (Jeff), Edmund Finch III (Cindy), Nicholas Finch (Stephanie), Renee Netemeyer (Craig) and Nathan Finch (Shannon DiBenedetto); and her sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Washington and Marie Rogers. She is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012). A reception was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Riverside Golf Club and Banquet Center (245 E Columbia Ave, Battle Creek, MI 49015).
