We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2018, at the age of 91, Ruth Mortensen (Battle Creek, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Karl Kroon and Hedvig Kroon (Svedin); her sister Margie Vogt of Battle Creek; her grandson Lonnie Mortensen (Melissa) of Ohio; her great grandchild Rachel; her daughter-in-law Pamela Mortensen of Battle Creek; her stepgrandchildren, Justin Blakeslee of Arkansas, Ashlee Blakeslee Peake (Jeremy) and Keirsha Eastman (George); her great grandchildren, Seth, Bella and Maggie; her friend Pat Homan; and also JoEllen Reed (Ralph) of Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Hospice Care of Portage.
