It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Irene Cole (Battle Creek, Michigan), who passed away on March 8, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alger Zimmerman and Alferida Zimmerman; her husband Newt Cole Sr.; and her brothers, David Zimmerman, Duane Zimmerman and Alger Zimmerman Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Starlene Smith (Ray) of Delton, Darlene Graham (Terry) of Battle Creek, Marlene Cole of Coldwater, Lawrence Cole (Ilona) of Colorado, Newt Cole (Sue) of Battle Creek, John Cole of Battle Creek, Malcolm Cole of Grandville and James Cole (Shelly) of Kansas. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
