She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Cook and Edith Cook (Fowler); her grandson David Broomfield; and her brothers, Raymond Cook, Frankie Murphy and Stanley Murphy.

She is survived by : her husband Lorenzo Caldwell Sr.; her children, Felicia Broomfield, David Broomfield, Lorenzo Caldwell Jr., Larue Caldwell, Malaika Butler, Lateeka Morris, Aaliyah Trigg, Michael Butler and Ryan Jackson; her siblings, Frank Cook Jr., Kenneth Cook Sr. (Jeanette), Ernest Cook (Sheila), Archie Murphy, Denise Cook, Cynthia Cook, Brenda Murphy and Laurie Harris; and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and special sisters.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service (375 W Dickman Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
