He was predeceased by: his parents, W. G. Putman and Alice Irene Putman (Jones); and his brothers, Willard Putman and David Putman. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Putman (Pierce); his children, Blair Putman (Tara), Marnie Sutherland (Rod) and Thomas Putman (Jenny); and his grandchildren, Mara Decker (Luke), Sara Putman (Katlyn), Morgynn Putman, Sam Sutherland (Ashley), A. C. Putman, Brendon Putman (Meghan) and Ella Putman (Anthony Jarvis). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service (375 W Dickman Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
