He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Mikolajczyk and Iris Devotia "Dee" Mikolajczyk; his wife Sandra Shearer; his sister Irene Russell; and his grandson John Jay Hendershot.

He is survived by: his children, John Mikolajczyk (Marcia) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Theresa Mikolajczyk of Hastings, MI, Norris Lee Mikolajczyk (Addie) of Bellevue, MI and Matthew Mikolajczyk (Sandra) of Hastings, MI; and his siblings, Jim Mikolajczyk (Pat) of Lee Lake, MI, Charles Mikolajczyk of Athens, MI and Bernice Curton (JE) of Kalamazoo, MI. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service (223 Bedford Rd N, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Union Cemetery-Johnstown Township.
