He was predeceased by: his parents, Mykel Horwath and Katherine Horwath; his wife Nancy L. McGew; and his granddaughter Nicole Gwilt. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Phelps (Chris), Shelly Wiegand (Craig) and Michael Horwath, Jr. (Nathaniel Gillum). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service (223 Bedford Rd N, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Bedford Cemetery (21962 Bedford Rd N, Battle Creek, MI 49017).
