He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward VandenHeuvel and Minnie VandenHeuvel (Byer). He is survived by: his wife Judy VandenHeuvel; his children, Lori Smith (Mark) and Craig VandenHeuvel (Jayci Birkey); his grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua and Kayanna; and his sister-in-law June VandenHeuvel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care (105 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
