He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lester and Albertine C. Palmer (Smith); his brother Bill Palmer; and his brother-in-law Bill McRae. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Caroline Mottinger; his children, Cindy Artis (Terral) of Battle Creek, John Harms (Drew Benson) of Ypsilanti, Chris Palmer (Angela) of Battle Creek, Nikki Palmer of Fort Myers Beach, FL and Tim Palmer (Tonya) of Battle Creek; his grandchildren, Kris Terrini, Tiffany Tallent (Shaun), Michael Farington, Avery Palmer, Kelsee Palmer and Chelsea Thompson; his great grandchildren, Hailey Terrini, Kylee Terrini and Elliott Thompson; and his siblings, James Palmer (Kathy) of Traverse City and Ellen McCrae of Battle Creek.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pna Club (15 Clair St, Battle Creek, MI 49014).
