Kaybelle Sue Ferris Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kaybelle Sue Ferris of Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Kenneth Iler and L. Belle Iler (Bronson); and her siblings, Raymond Iler, Wilma Frey, Lauro "Red" Iler and Melvin Iler.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Paul Ferris; her daughters, Brenda Mehaffey (Greg) of Battle Creek, MI, Bonnie Miller (Jeff) of Tekonsha, MI and Dawn Ferris of Battle Creek, MI; and her grandchildren, Scott (Charity Paulin), Johnathon Mehaffey (Hillary), Kristen Burnett (Dean), Danaja and Brayden Ferris.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services (723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. Kay and Gordon went hunting for Morel mushrooms for several years until they had to stop because of COVID.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or Ceresco Baptist Church.
