We bid farewell to Kathleen Mary (Ward) Moore of Battle Creek, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 8, 2024 at the age of 63. Kathleen Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Rosemarie Ward (Kolevar); and her uncle Russ Semelsburger. She is survived by: her husband Kevin Moore; her children, Lissa Layman (Jeff) of Amsterdam, Patrick Moore (Ashley) of Battle Creek, Abby Al Bassam (Saud) of Kuwait, Andrew Moore (Courtney) of Grand Rapids, Peter Moore of Battle Creek, Anna Moore (Jackson Wright) of St. Paul, MN and Karl Moore of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Maddison, Mckenzi, Lincoln Moore, Bo Moore and Eli Benedict Moore; her father Robert M. Ward of Battle Creek; and her siblings, Tim Ward (Mary) of Birmingham, MI, Anne Speese (Jim) of Battle Creek and Maria Ward (Tracy Wright) of Grand Rapids. She is also survived by in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeview Schools Educational Fund (LSEF) to create a grant or scholarship to honor her commitment to the students, staff, and administration of the Lakeview School District and the service and recognition she has provided to the District at both the local and State levels.
