She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles J. Smelker and Bonnie Jane Smelker (Carpenter). She is survived by: her children, James Rider (Brian Dietrich) and Jana Pepin (Craig); her grandchildren, Anthony Wickham and Marissa Wickham; her stepgrandchildren, Heather Pepin and Ryan Pepin; her stepgreat-grandson Brandon Pepin; and her brothers, Jerry Smelker (Cindy), Richard Smelker (Star) and Tom Smelker (Sandra).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service (375 W Dickman Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
