She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Orval Kokx and Lillian Kokx (Thaler); her husband Wayne Parks; her children, Kimberly Jo Arney (Jerry) of Battle Creek and Todd Michael Parks (Breezee) of Battle Creek; her stepchildren, Greg Munger (Helen Smith) of Missoula and Krista Antonowitsch (Paul) of Kalamazoo; her sister Bonnie Bole of Battle Creek; and her grandchildren, Brayden, Baylee Arney and Kurt Antonowitsch.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Richard A Henry Funeral Home (703 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek, MI 49015). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cornerstone Community Free Methodist Church (1305 Olive St, Battle Creek, MI 49014).
Memorial contributions in Jo's memory may be made to Cornerstone Community Church or the Humane Society of South-Central Michigan.
