It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Kinrade Mawdsley (Battle Creek, Michigan), born in Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Mawdsley and Wella Mawdsley; his wife Norma Jean Mosby of Granite City; and his son-in-law Charles Chase. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Chase (Mawdsley) and Beth Mawdsley Sherwood; his grandchildren, Anthony Chase, Charles Jack Chase (Sarah), Elizabeth Chase (Joe Alpers) and Ian M. Sherwood; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Chase and Vincent Chase.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Battle Creek Community Foundation's Battle Creek Public Schools Education Fund — Jack K. Mawdsley Scholarship Fund.
