It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Norman Knapper of Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Norman and Vera Blanche Knapper (Trine); his former wife Marcelene; his wife Janet; his son Terry Knapper; his siblings, Genevieve Hind, Gordon Knapper, Duane Knapper, Thomas Knapper and Geraldine Masterka; and his great grandchild Christina Bryan.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Knapper, Patricia Lawrence and Diane Mulvaine (David); and his grandchildren, Jeff Knapper (Julie), Jennifer Force (Ron), Priscilla Hunt (Darren), Richie Mead (Kelly), Heidi Knapper, Scott Mulvaine (Dawn), Deneen Bryan (Steve) and Sam Mulvaine (Nicole). He is also survived by 5 step grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; 1 step great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service (223 Bedford Rd N, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the East Hickory Corners Cemetery (4301 W Hickory Rd, Hickory Corners, MI 49060).
