With solemn reverence, we commemorate Eloise Mangan of Battle Creek, Michigan, whose life came to an end on April 11, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry A. Ackelbein and Helen L. Ackelbein (Dallemand); her husband Fred; her siblings, John Ackelbein and Dorris (Frank Clune); her sons-in-law, Frank Ruff and Joseph Zangaro; and her grandson Roman Ramos.
She is survived by: her children, James Fredrick (Rick), Sue Mangan of Ann Arbor, MI, Christine (Chris), Tom Tenney of Colon, MI, Janet, Sam Lanzafame of Chittenango, NY, Marjorie Mangan (Margie) of Battle Creek, MI, Karen Zangaro of Caledonia, MI, Martha, Larry Boyer of Battle Creek, MI, David, Laura Mangan of Grand Rapids, MI, Elizabeth (Beth), Scott Seppala of Battle Creek, MI and Rich Taylor of Hobart, Washington.; and also Pauline. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care (105 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017). A rosary will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Philip Catholic Church (92 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017). A committal service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2435 W Territorial Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49015).
