She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Yates Kenyon and Lillian Fern; her husband Terence Noel Keene-Kennedy; her son Kevin Dirk Keene-Kennedy; her siblings, Ernest Louis Kenyon, Esther Greenman (Kenyon), Ethel Freeman (Kenyon) and Ella Swafford (Kenyon); and her granddaughter Kathleen Slayton (Keene-Kennedy).
She is survived by: her children, Deirdre A Horton (Keene-Kennedy) of Indianapolis, IN, Tara R Gunn (Keene-Kennedy) of Battle Creek, MI, Erin M Katsarelas (Keene-Kennedy) of Pt and Terence L Keene-Kennedy (Susan) of Battle Creek, MI; her sister Eva L King (Kenyon) of Marshall, MI.; her grandchildren, Jonathan Horton, Heather Guilbault (Horton), Timothy Keene-Kennedy, Angela Pedersen (Keene-Kennedy), Sarah Russell (Keene-Kennedy), Sean Gunn, Stephen Gunn, Morgan Katsarelas and Taylor Katsarelas; and her niece Peggy Townsend of Manchester, MI. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, three great step-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services (2838 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek, MI 49015). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calhoun County Medical Care Facility, Memory Care Unit Maple Grove Hall, 2nd Floor.
