He was predeceased by: his parents, Minta Teegarden and Noah Teegarden; his wife Diane Teegarden; his brother William "Bill" Teegarden; his brother-in-law Jim Kirk; and his nephew Michael Norrod.
He is survived by: his children, Doctor David Teegarden (Douglas Abraham) and Richelle Spencer (Janice Couchman); his grandchild Jamie Spencer; his sister-in-law Phyllis Teegarden; his nieces, Lynn Norrod and Lee Buschke (Dave); his nephew Jay Teegarden; his great-niece Katie Buschke; his great-nephews, Gregory Buschke and Jory Teegarden; and also Grayson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service (223 Bedford Rd N, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens (1490 E Michigan Ave, Battle Creek, MI 49014).
It was Donald's wish that memorial contributions be made to American Sail Training Association (ASTA).
