Donald J. Roberts Obituary

In accordance with Don's wishes cremation will take place and a private celebration of his life will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation, c/o the funeral home.

Age 65, of Battle Creek, passed away on December 10, 2024, at Rose Arbor Hospice Place in Kalamazoo, MI surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Battle Creek on September 6, 1959, the son of the late Ronald and Elaine Roberts. Don was full of life, laughter and joy. He loved spending time with his family and his friends and leaves behind many wonderful memories to cherish. He worked hard to provide a home where all were welcome. He enjoyed spending time at home, being outdoors working on the landscape or taking a summer day to go fishing. He loved animals, especially his loyal dogs. Above all Don loved his family. He was a loving husband, proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather. On May 24, 2003, he married CR (Simmons) Roberts, who survives. He is also survived by four daughters, Shanna (Eric) Messner, Ame Roberts, Antonia Simmons, Melissa Roberts; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was also preceded in passing by a sister, Tammi Roberts.
