She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Bruce and Blanche Bruce (Blackburn); her son John Archer; and her siblings, Lona Bruce Powlen, Lee Bruce and Lloyd Bruce Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Underwood (Lonnie), Jane Mallernee and Linda Baker (James); and her stepchildren, Sherry Heagney, Gary Shelton (Shelia), David Shelton (Kathy) and Ronald Shelton (Courtney). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
