The memory of Barbara Jane Connor (Battle Creek, Michigan), who passed away on January 6, 2025 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth "Betty" Musselman and Melvin H. "Hub" Musselman; and her sisters, Carol Brannan (Sam) and Mary Fishbeck. She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly McLaren (Nick), Cathy Connor and Shannon Roberson (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Jordan, Austin, Katie, Camden, Calvin, Griffin, Charlie and Maggie; and her husband Jim. She is also survived by her daughters, grandchildren, and so many special friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home (105 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requested donations to be made in Barb's name to the Battle Creek Public Schools Education Foundation, reflecting her commitment to educating others.
