He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Woodruff-Schmunsler and Retha Woodruff-Schmunsler; his siblings, Billy Schmunsler, Charlene Hoard and Larry Schmunsler; and his father-in-law Frank Albrecht.

He is survived by: his significant other Judy Schmunsler; his children, Beth Bath (Mike) and Casey Schmunsler (Missy Humble); his grandchildren, Alisa Boynton (David), Cameron Bath and Brayden Schmunsler; his sister Betty Rosenbrook; and his mother-in-law Carol Albrecht. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
