He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; and his parents, Joseph Madeline and Anna Madeline. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Jr. (Joan) of New Baltimore and John (Lori) of Warren; his brothers, Joseph "Merle" Caretti (Jean) of St. Benedict, PA and Kenneth Caretti (Rita) of Ebensburg, PA; and his friend Joann Katona of Barton City. He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
