She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Meredith and Gertrude Meredith (Austerberry); her daughter Cynthia Burns; and her siblings, Edna Cook, John, Neil and Harold Meredith.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald R. Burns; her children, Catherine Ostrander (Peter) and Ronald Burns Jr. (Nadine); her grandchildren, David Burns (Gina), Nicholas Ostrander (Leigha Brown), Ryan Ostrander and Alexandra Chaney (Brandon); and her great grandchild Charlie Chaney. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gillies Funeral Home (104 W Alger St, Lincoln, MI 48742). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
