Idamae Conroy Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Idamae Conroy of Barryton, Michigan, whose life came to an end on March 17, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester L. Parmalee and Marvel Parmalee (Allen); her husband Ronald M. Conroy; her children, Rhonda Conroy, Ronald J. Conroy and Lawrence Conroy; her grandson Zachariah Conroy; her stepmother Marjorie; her son-in-law Steven Mortensen; her sisters, Geraldine Parmalee, Betty Wishmeyer (Syl), Henryetta Schlegel (Paul) and Helen Lawens (Richard); and her siblings-in-law, Eugene Wishmeyer, Irene Henry (Eugene), Ercell Dickman (Ed) and Jean Wishmeyer (Sonny).
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Conroy (Maria) of Monroe, Trudy Rauch of Greenville, Jeanette Conroy (Dennis Bauer) of Weidman, Jamie Conroy (Billie) of Clinton, Teresa Mortensen of Barryton and Penny Pefferman (John) of Shepherd; her daughter-in-law Ferne Conroy; and her sister Gladys Wishmeyer. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Clark Family Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service (114 S Bradley St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (302 S Kinney Ave, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A Mass was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (1515 N Fancher St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858).
Memorial contributions in Ike's honor may be made to Heartland Hospice.
