She was predeceased by: her parents, Devere Smith and Athel Smith; her brother Norman Smith; and her daughter Brenda Joy. She is survived by: her children, Denver E. Daggett (Aiga) of Metamora, Ellen J. Pyle (Lynn) of Greenville, Carol F. Peacock (Steven) of Ocoee and Linda G. DeForest of Greenville; her husband Al Daggett; and her sister Donna Hopkins of Lansing. She is also survived by her four children; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
