He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wertenberger and Edna Wertenberger (Lautzenheiser); and his brother Charles Wertenberger. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Boldt; his children, Matthew Wertenberger, Joel Wertenberger (Melanie), Nathanael Wertenberger (Tiffanie) and Heidi Cuthbert (Matthew); his grandchildren, Zackary, Alexa Lamonday, Reed, Ellestyn Wertenberger and Hudson Cuthbert; his siblings, Martha Young (Danny) and Larry Wertenberger (Roxie); and his sister-in-law Paula Wertenberger.
