He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Klassen Sr. and Nettie Klassen (Thompson); his brother Robert L. Klassen; and his son John B. Klassen III. He is survived by: his wife Carol Beebe; his children, Jane Klassen, Brian Klassen (Vickie), Martin Klassen (Lori), Anne Klassen-Brunner (Kraig Hartline), Philip Klassen (Bev), Stephen Klassen (Barb) and Julia Pechtel (Mike); his grandchildren, Nicholas (Crystal), Scott (Nicole), Lisa (Adam), Heather (Jason), Mark (Meghan), Sarah (Jason), AJ, Rebecca, Natalie, Nicole (Jake), Kristopher (Jennifer), Casey, Colin, Logan and Amber; and his great grandchildren, Devan, Payton, Amelia, Lila, Oliver, River and Rory. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
