He was predeceased by: his parents, Hermann Spitzke and Linda Spitzke; and his siblings, Arthur Spitzke, Ida Wolf, Erika Rath and Nellie Spitzke.
He is survived by: his wife Erika Spitzke; his children, Jeff Spitzke, Gerald Spitzke (Vicki) and Mona Himmelein (George); and his brother Siegmund Spitzke. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
