He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester LaBay, and Lillian LaBay, Sr. (Wellman) of Escanaba; his sisters, Mary and Jessie; his son-in-law Todd Green; his nephew Raymond N. Collins; and his niece Terrie Ann Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Harris; his children, Brad LaBay (Angie), Christie Green of Stonington and Jon LaBay (Natalie) of Gainesville, Virginia; his grandchildren, Kassidy, Keedan, James, Isabelle, Jeb, Elisabeth and Emma; and his siblings, Dixie Wiles, Delores Wilson (Larry), Ann Van Sicle, Cathie DuBord (Dan), Louise Edington (Wally) and Peter LaBay (Wes Nygaard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a good friend to his in-laws.
