He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Stanley Peterson and Elizabeth Peterson (Lord); his siblings-in-law, Bonnie, Jenni Peterson, Alan Barra, Donald, Bruce LaBelle and George Bower; his in-laws, Vern and Beverly LaBelle; and his nephew Kurtis Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his sons, Greg Peterson (Pam) of Wilson and Logan Peterson (Emily) of Green Bay; his grandchildren, Jackson, Landon, Hudson, Collins, Sutton, Foster and Lowen; his siblings, Sandra Erickson (Larry), Pete Peterson (Rosanna Webber), David Peterson (Deb), Karl Peterson, Christine Bergquist (Gary), Dean Peterson (Sheka Green), Dawn Gorecki (Randy) and Jim Peterson; his in-laws, Raymond LaBelle and Doreen Bower; and his caregivers, Jill, Danielle and Becki. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Chapel - Bark River (1236 Old U. S. 2, Bark River, MI 49807). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude's Children Hospital, which was a special interest of Scotts.
