He was predeceased by: his former wife Luella Dabney; his brothers, Henry and Lawrence Stair; and his parents, Louis E. Whipple and Alice May Whipple (Pyke).
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his children, Loren Whipple (Julie) of Gladstone and Loma Fowler (Scott) of Watervliet, MI; his grandson Nathan Whipple; his sister Bonnie Lou Pinozek of Escanaba; his nieces, Linda Peterson and Lorie Landis of Escanaba; his nephew Dave Ponozek of Escanaba; his stepchildren, Donna Yale (Bill) of Dubois, Diane Wright of Mogadore, OH, Deborah Jamison of Escanaba and John Jamison (Carmen) of Bark River; and his grandchildren, Wyatt and Regan Jamison. He is also survived by other 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 23 great-great grandchildren.
A burial will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fernwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home (706 Wisconsin Ave, Gladstone, MI 49837). The military honors will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 3:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
