She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Peterson and Iris Peterson (Schultz); her husband William Meiers Sr. of Anne's Catholic Church; her son Michael J. Meiers; and her son-in-law Joel A. Halverson.
She is survived by: her children, William Meiers Jr., Robert Meiers (Karen) and Renelle Halverson; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Meiers, Kyle Meiers, Jayson Ottensman (Cheryl), Jennifer Haglund (Cody), David Halverson (Lexy) and Kate Halverson. She is also survived by her nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral Homes (2200 Ludington St, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
