He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis I. and Mary A. Wanic (Kaszycki); his son Corey; and his father-in-law Arthur J. Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Susan Wanic of Bark River; his sons, Jason Wanic (Mariah) of Brimley and Jordan Wanic of Bark River; his granddaughter Caitlin Wanic; his mother-in-law Izetta Johnson of Powers; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Johnson (Mary Alice) of Green Bay, WI, Ronald Johnson (Dawn) of Madison, AL and Lois Johnson (Nick Lucariello) of Glenview, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family and a memorial will be established at a later date.
