Castle Jr. of Bark River, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Castle and Albertha Castle (VanBrooke); his son Robert Smith; and his sisters, Frances Asher (Al) and Donna Yarborough (Chester).
He is survived by: his children, Pam Holroyd (Bill), Linda VanEffen, Dianna Nastoff, James Castle III and Patricia Reiffers (John); his stepdaughters, Carol LaCosse (John) and Debra Sanville (Jeff); and his sister Dorothy Pepin (Eugene). He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
