It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol J. Derocher (Konkel) Peltier of Bark River, Michigan, born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on October 29, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis J. Derocher and Bertha L. Derocher (DeBen); and her grandparents, Fred, Laura Derocher of Bark River, Henry and Emerence DeBen of Norway.
She is survived by: her husband Leo Peltier; her children, Erica Konkel of Green Bay, WI, David Konkel (Tamara) of Bark River and Shannon Konkel of Nashville, TN; her grandchildren, Andrew Iverson, Kelsie Konkel, Elizabeth Konkel, Jake Konkel and Maddelyn Konkel Williams; and her siblings, Stephen Derocher of Bark River, Joan King of Bark River, Dan Derocher (Sharon) of St. Louis, MO and Joyce King (Jeff) of Gladstone. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
