It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark A. Leask of Barbeau, Michigan, who passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mark departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mark may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mark leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parent Shirley Ann Leask (Scales); his wife Melanie Nolan; his granddaughter London Carey; his father Edward "Chum" Leask; and his siblings, David Leask, Cheryl Ordiway (Leask) and Sharon Orazietti (Leask).
He is survived by: his daughter Jodi Carey (Tony); and his grandson Ethan Michalski. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (4585 E 15 Mile Rd, Barbeau, MI 49710). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
