He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Roberts and Jacqueline Roberts (Gerard); his wife Doris Dowd; and his siblings, Wallace Roberts, John Roberts and Susan Karvonen.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda Roberts of Baraga and Micheal Dowd of L'Anse; his siblings, Terence Roberts, Joey Roberts (Aimee), Jacqueline Jolin (Charles), Florence Jolin (Lowell), Barbara Combre (Pierre) and Jean Schmit (Lonnie); and his grandchildren, Michael (Laura), Davina (Chris), Allyson, Gregory, Jonah and Nicholas. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
