She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Swartz (Chris) of Baraga, Marilyn "Molly" Uren of Ontonagon, Dawn Alexander (Danny, Sr) of Baraga and R. C., Sr. Loonsfoot (Kristina) of Baraga; and her siblings, Richard Shalifoe (Gloria) of L'Anse, Matt Shalifoe (Nancy) of Baraga, Ted Shalifoe of Baraga, Fred Shelifoe (Margaret) of Baraga, Donald Shalifoe of Keweenaw Bay, Janice Halverson of Ishpeming and Cecelia Miller of Traverse City. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Ceremonial Room, Ojibwa Senior (208 Main St, Baraga, MI 49908). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Ceremonial Room, Ojibwa Seniors (208 Main St, Baraga, MI 49908).
