He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Marcella Tovey Sr. (Hendrickson); his son Bruce Tovey of Baraga; his brothers, Willis Tovey Jr of Cedar Springs, Ray Tovey (Janet) of San Antonia, TX and Larry Tovey (Diane) of Maricopa, Arizona; his sisters-in-law, Betty Niswonder of Luther, MI and Bonnie Miles (Donn) of Carol, MI; his nieces, Lorraine Massie (Dale) of Baraga, Alexis Niswonger of Hancock and Kianna Schroeder of Keweenaw Bay; his wife Brenda Tovey; his son John Tovey; and his father Willis Tovey Sr.
