He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Donohue and Myrtle Donohue (Peacock). He is survived by: his girlfriend Margaret A. Hankins; his stepdaughter Barbara Hankins-Connick (Julian) of Hartford; and his brother Daniel Donohue. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to any pet rescue organization.
