She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vincent Vera and Antonia Vera (Acevedo); her children, Maria McCormick (Patrick) of Plainfield, IL, Nydia Espinosa of Bangor and Gerard Tarafa (David) of Schaumburg, IL; her husband Manuel Santos Tarafa; and her son-in-law Richard Espinosa. She was also cherished by 8 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 7 brothers; a sister; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
