He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Sonya Reissmann and Paul Reissmann (Ashleigh); his grandchildren, James Siler and Maggie Ziegel-Siler (Larissa); his great grandchild Staci Ziegl-Siler; and his siblings, Faye Brzezinski (Tom), Jo Ann Trojanowski (Jim), Lee Ann Bornowski (Ted), Kevin Reissmann (Judy), Sue Hagen and Jenny Mills.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Black River Radio Club.

“I am deeply saddened of Paul’s passing. He was the first person I met and made friends with when I moved to the Wausau, WI area back in 1959 and have been the best of friends since. I have fond memories of Paul, his siblings, and parents from our childhood and later years. I will miss our many long conversations, enduring friendship, and will cherish many memories of him. Paul was a true and lasting friend. I am eternally grateful for him being in my life. May he rest in peace in God's hands.”
