Copenhaver of Bangor, Michigan, born in South Haven, Michigan, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Copenhaver and Gloria Copenhaver (Gates); and her siblings, Jill Noe and Larry Copenhaver. She is survived by: her children, Billy Smidt of Louisiana, Cynthia Nahin of Douglas and Terry Smidt of Bangor; her grandchildren, Mandi, Jackie, Kara, Veronica, John and Owen; and her siblings, Jacalyn Billings of Grand Haven, Jody Dinger of Holland, Wayne Copenhaver (Carol) of Mattawan, David Copenhaver (Rita) of Gobles, Robert Copenhaver, Jr. of Bangor, Dana Copenhaver of Bangor and Kenneth Copenhaver (Margaret) of Bangor. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bangor Chapel (258 W Monroe St, Bangor, MI 49013). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
